As a Software Application Architect, you will:
Lead the design of secure, scalable, and adaptable solutions within agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
Drive architectural decisions and ensure high technical standards across the delivery lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with technical leads, engineers, and other architects to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
Champion quality, foster engineering best practices, and support the adoption of DevOps principles.
Play an integral role in mentoring team members, engaging with stakeholders, and shaping the technical direction of your projects.

To succeed as a Software Application Architect, you should bring:
Experience designing and implementing complex applications, balancing technical innovation with practical delivery.
A strong understanding of security-first design, with hands-on knowledge of secure coding practices.
Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with agile delivery methods, such as SCRUM or SAFe.
The ability to communicate effectively with both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

It’s a bonus if you also have:
Cloud platform experience or certifications (AWS or Azure).
Exposure to full-stack application design and infrastructure-as-code.
Scaled agile certifications such as SAFe or Scrum@Scale.
Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to community knowledge-sharing initiatives.
