Lead UI (React) Engineer with UX Experience
Compensation: Up to £100,000 Base Salaries + 20% Discretionary Bonuses

I’m currently working with one of the most tech-oriented electronic trading firms in London, globally distributed across 30 countries with just over £350 billion of assets under management.

They’re looking for a UI specialist! Someone who can have full autonomy across the entire ‘UI’ SDLC, to lead the buildout of a highly performant and real-time micro front-end e-trading application (multi-asset) from scratch, whilst tailoring the UX to be more efficient and accessible for traders to use on a daily basis.

This hire is CRITICAL -> the current UI/UX roadmap is too clunky, therefore leading to a lag between trades being scheduled, placed, and booked, resulting in less revenue being generated through each and every trade.

The right candidate for this position will have extensive experience facing off with both the internal and external business, as you will be required to speak to stakeholders, traders, portfolio managers, and cross-functional technology teams to gather requirements to then translate and deliver scalable/robust solutions without sacrificing overall performance.

Requirements:
4 years + experience programming in React.
Finance experience is a MUST (Ideally working in the front office).
Experience using any UX Tools is highly desirable (i.e. Figma, Storybook, Sketch, or Adobe… etc)
Experience working with real-time UIs would be beneficial.
