Job Specifications
Sitting within the Treasury Operation Team as part of the Operations Department focusing on T+1 processes, the incumbent will be responsible for:
Reviewing and validation of margin call data from PB/Clearers vs Capula internal projections (Futures, Cleared Swaps, Cross Product Margin)
Preparing and sending various daily reports to Treasury I,e cash forecast projections, bond collateral IM utilization
Producing and reviewing EOD NAV asset reconciliation and allocation (Asset Report)
Flagging any large margin requirements with Treasury ahead of processing where the value is greater than the defined fund threshold (% of NaV)
Ensure all cash wire instructions are reviewed and authorised accurately in advance of the relevant currency cut-off time
Ensure any cash or margin issues raised by providers are investigated, escalated and resolved as quickly as possible
Monitoring of settlement activity within Custody accounts cash & non-cash transactions
Monitoring settlement activity at PBs across various asset classes I,e Fixed Income, Equity, Commodities
Preparing and sending various internal reports to internal Stakeholders related to daily control checks performed
Contribute and participate in delivering increased efficiency and automation of new and existing processes
Participate in ad-hoc project work/initiatives within the Treasury operations team and Operations as a whole
Oversight and escalation point the fund administrator on the outsourced collateral services (ISMA and ISDA)
Prompt escalation of any issues to line manager such as cash issues which may result in a deadline breach or internal/external investigation
Ensure both internal client and third party queries are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Monitor group inbox and process emails relating to the Treasury Operations Team, including margin queries, cash instructions, queries, requests, reports etc
Manage operational risk ensuring events and near misses are investigated, documented, and remediated
Maintenance of procedures
Training team members
Work with and maintain relationships with brokers, custodians, administrators, PBs and clearing brokers
Note that in addition to these duties employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required.

Education and Qualifications
Educated to a degree level
Candidates should be intellectually curious and have relevant experience on the buy side
Experience
Experience within middle or back office
Skills
Strong knowledge of the margin process related to Futures, Cleared Swaps, OTC, Equity and Fixed income asset classes
Coding skills are necessary (VBA, SQL, Python)
Adept to sharing knowledge with other team members
Must be numerate and have good attention to detail
Fast thinking and analytical individual
Ability to cultivate relationships both internally and externally to support the business requirements
Quick decision making skills
Ability to work under pressure
Willingness to continually learn and look for ways of improvement
