Who Will You Work With:
Our client is a major financial services organization renowned for delivering high-quality digital banking solutions. You will work within a highly skilled Avaloq team, contributing to the development and optimization of key modules and supporting end-to-end delivery of business-critical features.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Avaloq Consultant to take ownership of key workstreams across Payment, Cost & Fees, and CLM modules. This is a 6-month B2B contract with a high possibility of extension. The role is based in London, UK, and will require strong technical knowledge of Avaloq systems, particularly the ICE workbench and smart client, along with strong Oracle PL/SQL expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a stream lead for Avaloq-related implementations.
Work on the Payment, Cost & Fees, and CLM modules.
Utilize Avaloq ICE Workbench and Smart Client for system customization and issue resolution.
Leverage strong Oracle PL/SQL programming experience to support system integration and enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
Support documentation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning tasks.
Engage in client-facing activities and contribute to Agile project delivery.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Over 5 years of experience in Avaloq, including leadership of project streams.
Strong hands-on experience with Payment, Cost & Fees, and CLM modules.
Expertise in Avaloq ICE Workbench and Smart Client.
Valid Avaloq certification (Mandatory).
Excellent SQL skills and extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, packages, triggers, etc.).
Working knowledge of database tools like TOAD and SQL Developer.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience in Unix scripting.
Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
Previous experience in client-facing roles.
Familiarity with instant payments and Tietovry interface is a plus.
