Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative enterprise architect to lead the architecture, design, and strategic development of our future-state IoT Secure Edge solution as part of the broader OT Refresh initiative. This role will shape the secure connectivity and intelligence of edge computing across our operational technology (OT) infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and robust security within the digital ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design, with a strong focus on IoT, OT, or edge computing.
Deep understanding of secure edge architecture, edge device lifecycle management, protocol translation (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus), and telemetry systems.
Experience designing solutions with Azure IoT Edge, AWS Greengrass, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with network segmentation, firewalling, and secure communications between edge and central systems.
Proven experience leading complex cross-functional technical projects in industrial or utility environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles in OT environments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
TOGAF, Zachman, or other architecture certifications.
Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems (ICS).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and edge orchestration platforms.
Exposure to data analytics or AI/ML at the edge.
Background in gas distribution, energy, or other critical infrastructure domains.
