The Role
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and based in the Watford Head Office in the UK, the Marketing Manager is a 12 month FTC which will play a critical role within the UK Country Marketing Team. This dynamic and challenging role involves developing and delivering first-class marketing for TK Maxx to achieve UK brand and revenue goals. The Marketing Manager will lead by example, managing one direct report and a team of agency partners, including media and experiential agencies, while acting as an ambassador for TJX.
Under the guidance of the Manager of UK Country Marketing, the role holder will strategically develop and execute the UK TK Maxx marketing strategy and plans. This requires a strong understanding of the full marketing mix, including media, social, influence, and experiential channels. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commercial understanding and relevant retail experience, essential for driving the business in the UK, the largest market within TJX Europe.

What You'll Do
Develop and execute marketing/media plans to deliver the UK TK Maxx strategy in line with business goals and priorities.
Monitor progress against goals to ensure the best possible results, overseeing the delivery of compelling outputs and learnings.
Stay updated with the latest marketing/media trends from industry resources.
Review market insights and brand health to incorporate local data into UK marketing activity plans.
Manage local marketing agendas for new store openings, relocations, refurbishments, and focus stores, including media and onsite activities.
Collaborate with UK Communications Managers for a cohesive 360 approach to campaigns across influence, social media, store events, CR campaigns, and brand partnerships.
Work closely with performance marketing and digital teams to ensure a unified customer experience across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Manage the annual marketing/media budget, including PO management and budgetary planning.
Engage with field and retail teams to support marketing efforts, ensuring regular meetings, store visits, and roadshow attendance.
Present to Senior Leadership and large audiences.
Define and manage marketing/media processes with the Manager of UK Country Marketing and the wider Brand & Marketing team, adjusting as the business evolves.
Ensure a consistent omnichannel approach to all activities with Brand & Marketing partners.
Report, control, and monitor the annual budget, anticipating future challenges or opportunities.
Understand and react to UK market commercials to ensure a balanced marketing plan, partnering with the finance function as necessary.
Build strong relationships with key business partners within B&M team, Buying, Retail, Store Operations, and Store Trading.
Manage direct reports and external agencies on a day-to-day basis.
Set performance objectives for the team and conduct reviews in line with business timelines.
Develop team members, identifying development needs and training opportunities.
Manage performance of external suppliers at a senior level.

What You'll Bring
Experience in marketing or relevant roles (Agency or Client side).
Proven experience in a management role with exceptional leadership and people management skills.
Self-development and performance management skills, including objective setting.
Experience in large, retail businesses or matrix organizations (preferable but not essential).
Ability to manage tight deadlines effectively.
Flexibility and problem-solving skills in uncertain or unknown circumstances.
High numeracy and confidence with data.
Resilient and pragmatic approach to fluid planning environments.
Experience managing third-party agencies to deliver results.
Passion for retail.
Solid project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
