As part of our growing international Sales team, you will focus on helping to develop and scale our business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Your key objective will be to identify and prospect leads to generate new pipeline, pitching the value of Akur8, leading POCs (Proof of Concept) and signing new deals in your territory.
Both independently and with the help of local sales partners, the Sales Executive will leverage their previous commercial experience to close business.
This will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities :
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for owning your territory and the associated quota
Identifying new opportunities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also exploring every segment and lines of business of your territory
Pitching and negotiating with a variety of stakeholders (Technical Directors, Procurement, Senior Management)
Working on and submitting proposals, as well as negotiating contracts with clients
Building strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic prospects and clients, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Thinking out of the box, suggesting new ideas and approaches to improve our product, based on client expectations
You will preferably be based in our Paris office. Travelling for business development events will be required.
Requirements
We are looking for a top-performer with 3+ years of experience in complex Saas B2B sales and a strong aptitude for technology, eager to grow their knowledge in SaaS, actuarial science and machine learning. Ideal candidates have a passion for entrepreneurship, and perhaps experience working at a startup.
In order to be considered for this position you must imperatively respond to the following criteria:
You have 6+ years of experience in complex B2B sales, as an Account Manager, Sales Executive or Customer Success Manager - an experience in a SaaS company ,in the insurance space or international context is a plus
You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs (bonus points for experience with Salesforce), Slack communication, multi-teams interactions. You have good self-management skills, you are efficient and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
You have a ‘hunter' mindset, and like researching to identify potential customers, possessing the agility and adaptability required to sell a rapidly evolving product offering
You possess the level-head required to project manage both smaller (:100-300K) and larger (1m - 1.2m) contracts, with excellent presentation skills to navigate medium to long sales cycles
You have proven expertise in business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex deep-tech SaaS products. You excel at defining tailored closing plans for each opportunity, with clear, proactive actions to drive success
You are able to not only work individually and be autonomous, but also collaboratively with your peers and other teams (marketing, partnerships and technical teams)
You are a Native German speaker and possess excellent communication skills, whether oral, written, or non-verbal. Fluent English is mandatory, as it is the work language at Akur8
You are proactive, dynamic, curious, eager to learn, and action-oriented. You will need to show motivation toward achieving the sales target and demonstrate a sincere interest in Akur8, both as a company and in the solutions we offer
In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus
