What You'll Do

Write error-free, engaging copy for marketing emails and push notifications, product/UX, blog posts, landing pages, paid media, social media content and more, ensuring adherence to brand tone and voice guidelines.
Work closely with designers, marketers and stakeholders from across the business, such as customer operations and commercial teams, to create cohesive, visually and textually aligned campaigns.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity and incorporate relevant customer research, data and insights into content creation to maintain relevance and engagement.
Maintain a strong understanding of FCA and ASA messaging standards, ensuring all copy adheres to regulatory requirements while prioritising positive customer outcomes.
Ensure all written materials align with the brand’s voice and style guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional tone across all touchpoints.
Actively contribute to building and shaping TotallyMoney’s tone of voice, writing styles and messaging guidelines.

Requirements

Capable of managing briefs independently, finding creative solutions with minimal guidance
Comfortable generating ideas quickly and adapting to changing requirements or feedback.
Actively seeks feedback on their work, provides detailed insights into their thought process, and incorporates constructive critique into final outputs.
Continuously evaluates and improves their writing process, confidently testing new ideas and presenting evidence to support changes.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of best practices and integrates them effectively into their work.
Influences team processes and decisions, contributing to the evolution of workflows and creative standards.
Experience working in consumer credit, with knowledge of FCA regulations and working with legal and compliance teams.

The Hiring Process

The ideal candidate will be proficient in CMM programming and operation, with a strong understanding of FAIR and ISIR documentation requirements. This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in maintaining our commitment to quality and continuous improvement across all stages of production. Key Responsibilities Review and verify material certification documents to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable standards (including AS9100 and ISO 9001). Prepare and review ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) and FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports) in accordance with customer and industry requirements. Accurately document inspection findings, including certificate conformity, observations, and any discrepancies. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material standards to validate documentation. Offline program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to carry out dimensional inspections of components. Use a range of additional inspection tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Report non-conformances promptly and collaborate with relevant departments to address quality issues. Maintain accurate and traceable inspection records in accordance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management system requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and areas for enhancement in documentation control. Participate in audits, internal reviews, and relevant training to uphold and improve inspection standards. Day-to-day Of The Role Begin each day by reviewing upcoming jobs and prioritising inspections based on production schedules and customer deadlines. Cross-check material certification documents against engineering drawings and specification requirements. Offline program and run CMM inspections, ensuring accurate measurement of critical dimensions. Carry out manual inspections using handheld tools where applicable, verifying tolerances and surface finishes. Prepare and update FAIRs and ISIRs for new product introductions or customer submissions. Record all inspection findings in the quality management system and flag any deviations or non-conformances. Communicate with all departments and quality teams to resolve issues and support root cause investigations. Participate in daily quality stand-up meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions. Essential Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across departments. Desirable Formal qualifications in mechanical or manufacturing engineering (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent). Lean or Six Sigma awareness and involvement in continuous improvement activities.
