Job Description
My Client is a World class automotive manufacturer and they are currently looking for a safety engineer to work at their battery assembly plant in Wolverhampton.
Job Description
Work closely with engineering, facilities, and construction teams to ensure safety is at the heart of all factory and facility designs.
Ensure installations and CDM activity is carried out in a safe manner.
Support site installation teams during build/installation/buy off phases.
Support machine and manufacturing line concept reviews to ensure all health and safety aspects are adhered too.
Review site plans and layout proposals regarding to Health and Safety
Take a pro-active approach to Health and Safety, and strive to improve adherence across all areas of the business, and outside the business such as contractors and OEM’s.
Advise and enforce health and safety measures during installation.
Qualifications
Proven History of delivering/assisting with H&S in a manufacturing environment.
Machine safety sign off experience
CMSE
A member of a recognised professional body.
NEBOSH qualified, preferable
