Overview

The Print Designer role is a support to the overall profit of the company by delivering 1st class pattern design, selection & production management that encapsulates the Boden brand. Knowing who our key customer ‘Kate’ is and how she is wearing our clothes integral.

Location: 4 days per week at our North Acton office.

What You Will Do

To design appropriately for our customer base, providing pattern for product that fulfils their requirements but most importantly excites our customers – pushing their boundaries but not crossing them.
To explore innovative sources of inspiration and to carry out research on seasonal colours and pattern trends that are right for Boden.
To prepare range presentations on CAD – working closely with design to present the best possible patterned options for each style and story, across all ranges.
To develop and improve print methods with suppliers.
To ensure the Boden brand values are reflected in all areas of work - from design development to production.
Develop a key understanding and affinity with the Boden core customer.
To constantly look for inspiration and trends, going on development/research/comp shopping trips as required.

What We Are Looking For

A creative design passion with some experience in the Womenswear space.
Bachelor’s degree and /or Master’s in appropriate field.
Ability to balance brand with business while relentlessly focusing on the consumer.
Trend understanding with industry awareness and knowledge of contemporary brands.
Ability to work collaboratively with all functional areas while being able to work independently.
Goal oriented and experience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to react quickly to the changing business needs and deadlines.
Proficiency in illustrator and / or Miro.
