Key Background : Varonis / DLP Experience
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Security Analyst with expertise in Varonis and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies to join our growing cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive data, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with data protection policies using advanced DLP tools and behavioural analytics platforms like Varonis.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage Varonis solutions to monitor and analyse file activity, user behavior, and sensitive data access.
Implement and manage DLP solutions across endpoints, networks, cloud applications, and email systems to detect and prevent unauthorized data movement.
Perform continuous monitoring of data access and usage patterns to identify anomalous or risky behaviour.
Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to define and enforce data protection policies.
Conduct investigations into potential data leaks or misuse of sensitive information and escalate incidents as needed.
Support incident response efforts related to data exfiltration or data security threats.
Maintain data classification frameworks and ensure proper tagging of sensitive information.
Provide reporting and dashboards for compliance audits, risk assessments, and executive briefings.
Keep current on evolving threats, regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), and best practices in data security and privacy.
Assist with user education and awareness initiatives regarding data protection policies
