A Mid-Senior Backend Engineer who has experience working with platform and is product focused, is needed to join an exciting early stage AI social media start-up in London, with huge ambition.
The company is already generating crazy amounts of traffic to their application and are releasing features weekly, with incredible speed and impact.
They are now looking to bolster the team with a Mid or Senior Backend Engineer with Platform Experience to join a close-knit team. You will work closely with two other backend engineers while also taking ownership of infrastructure and performance on projects end-to-end, with fast release cycles.
The business is well positioned financially are looking to raise more money as they are set to scale the US. This is a great opportunity to join a company with an incredible office and culture!

You’ll build and scale the backend systems and APIs that power our product experience, working closely with the iOS team to deliver features customers love.
3+ years commercial experience working commercially as an Backend Engineer.
Experienced managing Infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
TypeScript, NodeJS (express), Docker, Terraform AWS, Postgres
B2C exposure ideally
Excellent communicator (especially about how things work under the hood)
Strong with Systems Design and Architecture design
Remuneration for the Mid-Senior Backend Engineer
Up to £95,000 Based
2 Days per week in their central London office.

- A multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund are looking to hire an investment data analyst in London. Supporting the firm’s flagship European investment strategy, the hire will directly support the London investment desk (that you face off to) in identifying, sourcing and analysing investment data. The hire will take ownership for managing a selection of vendors, with a front-to-back coverage of the data management process + responsibility to improve the efficiency of the data activity. There is a core project management component to the role, typically managing data engineers / technologists on delivery of varied initiatives, extending to building data quality processes / optimising the onboarding of data and data delivery which the hire would be more involved with hands-on (implementing new data quality frameworks, creating processes and policies to improve data resources and capabilities etc.). Candidates should have 2-7yrs of experience in data management, more specifically verifying data quality + onboarding new data sets ideally.
