We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused person to join our Technical Support team at iSAMS. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, helping others, and learning about technology.

As a Technical Support Associate, you’ll work closely with customers and colleagues to provide second-line support for our school management software. You’ll help resolve a range of technical issues, contribute to process improvements, and keep our support systems running smoothly.

Please note: This is a fully office-based role based in Manchester, working a rotating shift pattern of:

06:00–14:00 ¦ 08:00–16:00 ¦ 10:00–18:00 – Monday to Friday only

You don’t need to have loads of experience – just a good attitude, a willingness to learn, and an interest in technology.


What Will You Be Doing?

Responding to support tickets using our internal system (Zendesk)
Diagnosing issues and providing solutions using remote access tools and documentation
Escalating complex cases to the relevant team or third-party providers
Assisting with non-technical “how-to” queries
Maintaining accurate customer records and ticket updates
Identifying patterns in support issues and raising awareness internally
Helping to train new team members and sharing knowledge
Contributing to team projects and service improvements
Staying up to date with product developments and changes

It would be great if you also have (but not required):

Experience with Microsoft SQL or working in a support/helpdesk role
Familiarity with web-based technologies (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Basic understanding of website hosting or web servers.
