THE POSITION
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Temporary Jewellery Store Manager to manage and lead a luxury jewellery store within Bicester Village.
This is a temporary position for six months with the potential for a permanent role based on performance and business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for luxury jewellery, and the ability to drive sales and exceed targets.

As a store manager you will be responsible for the store’s commercial delivery reporting directly to Bicester Village managers and Dinny Hall Retail Operation Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development of a strong client base both locally and globally and an informative and caring sales strategy; with an omnichannel approach to selling
Lead, manage and educate team members in new client acquisition and retention
Respond and resolve customer concerns in a professional and rapid manner
Work closely with marketing and commercial functions to ensure in store events and promotions run smoothly and help drive sales targets
Collaborate with the Bicester Village management team to ensure store standards align with the wider store’s objectives
Ensure the store is visually appealing and adheres to both Bicester Village and the company’s brand guidelines
Act as the main point of contact between the store and Bicester Village management
Regularly report on sales, stock, and staffing issues to both Bicester and Dinny Hall head office
Analyse sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
Liaise with Bicester buying, merchandising, and operational teams to align the store's strategy with store-wide objectives
Instil passion and pride for the brand and product
Provide weekly trade results and sales figures to Dinny Hall head office, analyse and react to sales trends regarding assortment, stock levels, opportunities to increase sales to Senior Management
Manage operational efficiencies, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance with Bicester Village luxury retail standards
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of luxury retail professionals
Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and training sessions
Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently in line with brand guidelines
Communicate to Senior Management customer feedback and quality issues in order to improve customer service and sales
Perform and supervise operational responsibilities to ensure the timely procedures and accurate processing of all markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping and receiving in order to maintain the integrity of the inventory and any stock loss accountability
IDEAL CANDIDATE
A proven track record in retail management in a luxury environment
Ideally have experience within Jewellery retail
Strong leadership qualities and decision-making ability
Commercially aware with a good understanding of the market and competitors
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Willing to multitask resourcefully, self-motivated and can work independently
Strong IT skills, experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
