About the Role
Man is undergoing a significant infrastructure project in 2025 and we are searching for an experienced Network engineer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis to help us to deliver this project and support the team which you will join, with other projects plus BAU work.
Join us as a Network Engineer in the Infrastructure Engineering department and you'll be part of a team that builds and runs the platform powering Man Group's hedge funds. Man runs a hybrid working model, we aim for this individual do 4 days a week in office.
What can you learn
Promote and adhere to best practice across Technology, by aligning strong engineering skills, attention to detail and knowledge of industry trends and best practices to build reliable, high performance and robust solutions.
Building and managing Man Group’s infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, using technologies such as Python.
Integrate Ansible, Terraform, and other automation tools with Network systems and services.
Working closely with business stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Who we are looking for
Experience operating and deploying network infrastructure
Experience with routing and network protocols
Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (TCP/UDP)
Ideally experience with overlay networks (EVPN, VXLAN)
A good knowledge of the following products: Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Networking, Arista Networks
Eagerness to automate your workflow to increase efficiency
Clear communication skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of customer feedback
A flexible and reliable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment but is also self-motivated and can work independently when needed

Must have right to work in the UK and based within easy reach of West London Must be available within approx. 2 weeks Contract Network Engineer with strong expertise in Infoblox, responsible for migration from old/legacy infoblox to already running infoblox installation. This will require re-design of the newer installation, to allow hosting of DNS towards the internet; Consolidation/migration of data from older installation into newer / Configuration of infoblox to host DNS for Active Directory (migration from older installation). This is a 3-month contract with a focus on redesigning and implementing the migration of an outdated Infoblox installation that has been overdue for replacement.
