The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Ownership
Own the architecture, development, deployment, and performance of Workspaces.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, creating a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
Define and enforce best practices in development, security, and system architecture.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure technical decisions align with commercial objectives.
Full-Stack Development
Develop and maintain a scalable, high-performance system using:
Frontend: Vue.js (Nuxt.js preferred), TypeScript.
Backend: Node.js, Prisma ORM, GraphQL/REST APIs.
Database: PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB.
Build robust microservices and serverless architectures on AWS.
Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring solutions.
Ensure security, performance, and high availability across the product.
Strategic Thinking & Innovation
Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and enhance Workspaces.
Work with data and AI teams to integrate advanced analytics and automation.
Drive cloud cost optimisation, scalability, and security best practices.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Work closely with the product team to ensure technical decisions align with business needs.
Present technical plans and roadmaps to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Use data and analytics to inform development decisions.
What You'll Bring:
5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong experience with Vue.js (or Nuxt.js) and modern TypeScript.
Expertise in Node.js and API development (REST, GraphQL).
In-depth understanding of Prisma ORM and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation).
Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of security best practices in web applications.
