The Role

We’re seeking a junior developer to join our dynamic digital team, supporting development across front-end and back-end fan engagement projects.

Working in a global team, you will help shape the direction of the business through innovation and conceptualisation of new initiatives whilst using technology to drive efficiencies throughout the sports ecosystem

Key Responsibilities

Assist in development of fan engagement platforms. This involves understanding user experience design principles and translating client concept briefs into engaging, intuitive digital interfaces
Support senior developers in coding tasks by helping to implement features and debug existing systems. This role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the team's existing technological infrastructure.
Learn and implement best coding practices. Continuously improve coding skills by staying updated with the latest development methodologies and industry standards
Participate in code reviews. Actively contribute to the team's code quality by providing constructive feedback and identifying potential improvements in code structure and performance.
Contribute to documentation. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation that captures system architectures, coding standards, and project-specific details.
Develop skills across technology stack by gaining proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technological domains to become a versatile and adaptable developer
Give input on strategic planning and execution. Provide valuable insights and recommendations that contribute to the team's technological strategy and long-term innovation roadmap. This involves demonstrating a forward-thinking approach and the ability to align technical capabilities with broader business objectives.
Contribute towards cloud infrastructure management when necessary and works with AWS tools/SDK’s.
