ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
Join a dynamic team focused on transforming data into actionable insights through the design, development, and deployment of reports and dashboards. As part of our business intelligence unit, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that support strategic decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design, build, and deploy insightful reports and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Write DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to optimize and streamline data models.
Utilize Power Query Editor to cleanse and shape data for reporting purposes.
Create visualizations and graphs based on stakeholders’ needs to facilitate data-driven decisions.
Develop and maintain Power BI dataflows to ensure data consistency across reports.
Collaborate closely with the Metrics team to align on project requirements and deadlines.
Report progress to the manager and team members, ensuring transparent communication.
Identify and raise any issues or roadblocks during team meetings, offering solutions where possible.
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
At least 1 year of experience in business intelligence with a focus on Microsoft Power BI.
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in using Microsoft Power BI and Azure DevOps for reporting and data analysis tasks.
Strong skills in writing DAX expressions to manage data models effectively.
Hands-on experience with Power Query Editor for data transformation.
Expertise in creating data visualizations to meet stakeholders’ needs.
Capable of building and managing Power BI dataflows.
Solid understanding of Power BI gateways and their functionality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on precision and clarity in data analysis.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and their principles.
NICE-TO-HAVE
Knowledge of tools like Octane, SonarQube, Mend (Whitesource), and SharePoint is an advantage.
