Senior C#/ Azure Developer. Commodities Market Data Integration. Greenfield. £700/ Day Inside IR35 until 31st Dec 2025 and then 12 month renewal for 2026. Hyrbid 2 Days a week in Central London office.

My client is a top tier commodities (power and gas) trading firm based in central London. They are looking for a Strong C#/ Azure Developer to come on board on a long term contract paying £650/ Day Inside IR35. They are replacing 2 inhouse commodities market platforms with one off the shelf SaaS market data system. This is a greenfield project.

Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience working with all of
Strong Microsoft C#.net knowledge (especially in API development) with commercial .net development experience
Containerized application development and deployment
Working in Microsoft Azure
Strong relational database experience with Oracle or SQL Server
Good development practices such as test automation, IOC, SOLID principles, logging and monitoring.

Desirable Skills and Experience
Previous experience in market data systems (prices and forward curves)
Experience working with data add-ins for excel
Automated continuous integration pipelines including automated deployment
Agile development (Scrum preferred)
Azure Dev-Ops (Team Foundation Server) for continuous integration, automated test execution and source code management (TFS GIT)
Authentication/OAUTH2
Some web frontend experience
