As an Azure Network Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing and supporting network services in both cloud and on-premises environments. You’ll handle the full spectrum of IT Service Management (ITSM) and project-based tasks, with a strong focus on cloud networking.

Responsibilities:

Ticket Queue Management: Oversee and manage tickets to ensure timely response and resolution.
Troubleshooting: Act as the primary contact for network issues, responding swiftly to resolve incidents for customers.
Configuration Changes: Execute network configuration updates based on service requests, ensuring efficient, high-quality completion.
Solution Design/Architecture: Customize and optimize network solutions to meet specific client needs.


Qualifications:

Location: Based in Belgium, with a valid driver’s license.
Language Skills: Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
Experience: 3-5 years as a network engineer, with significant experience in Azure Cloud Networking. Familiarity with AWS networking is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Networking: VPN/IPsec expertise, as well as knowledge of SD-WAN and Virtual WAN (VWAN).
Technologies: Proficiency in at least one of the following: Cisco (switching, firewalls, wireless controllers/access points), Meraki, Fortinet, or Checkpoint.
Certification: At least one certification such as Azure AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-104, or Cisco CCNA.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Over one year of experience with tools like Bicep, Terraform, and/or Ansible.
Additional Skills:
Project Experience: Proven track record in network project implementation.
Consulting Aptitude: Comfortable communicating with and guiding business stakeholders and clients.
Flexibility: Available for occasional weekend and after-hours work on production environments.
Adaptability: Eager to learn and take on new challenges with a solution-focused approach.
Balance: Ability to align business needs with compliance requirements effectively.
Proactivity: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing both customer and team expectations.
Additional Requirements:

On-Call Availability: Willingness to join the 24/7 on-call rotation.
