Lead Software Engineer – Options C++

One of the top, industry leading prop firms is looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join their options technology team, in their Core and Strategies. They are one of the most widely known global players for tech and trade and business operations. The team is focused on ensuring the business has access to exchanges to understand the performance of their trading activity and make better – informed decisions about their trading strategies.

Responsibilities:
Leading a team that continues to grow.
Strategy development and core low latency
Independently leading large-scale research projects focused on building applications, based on traders’ needs.
Collaborating smoothly with the members of the team and providing insight on programming solutions using C++.
Work in a high-pressure environment and provide quick solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Strong experience as a senior engineer in the industry with a focus on C++.
Proven track record of working as a leader of a team and having an impact in their growth.
Skills in building and optimising trading systems as well as maintaining high performance and quality standard.
Familiarity with market data coming from exchanges and making assessments based on those.
Understanding of Quantitative Research needs.
A solid academic foundation in a STEM discipline with a preference in Engineering.
