Summary
Our client is undertaking a project to maintain and enhance the network infrastructure of a large public facility. We are seeking a Cabling Engineer with active Security Check (SC) clearance and experience in installing copper or fibre cabling.This contract offers a standard 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or night shifts.The role falls outside the scope of IR35 regulations.

The Role
The project involves the maintenance and improvement of the facility's network infrastructure.

Responsibilities Include:
Installing, terminating, and testing copper and fibre optic cabling systems.
Ensuring all installations comply with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborating with the project team to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Adhering to all safety and quality guidelines.

Program Details
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
No weekend or night work required.
Position is outside IR35.
Requirements:
Active Security Check (SC) clearance.
Experience in installing and maintaining copper or fibre optic cabling systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements Experience we look for: Essential Previous experience of project management/working as part of a project team that has delivered results and handled multiple projects at a time. Effective communicator both in writing and verbally, with the ability to adjust your communication style to suit different audiences and levels of seniority. Excellent report writing skills and administrative ability, including previous experience of minuting meetings. A confident problem solver with the capacity to trouble shoot issues to find effective solutions. Willingness to travel to any of the offices within the Westfalia Fruit group on an ad hoc basis.
