As a product-focused software engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical development and strategic product leadership. You’ll champion the product’s vision, collaborate with developers, and ensure successful delivery of features that push boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Advocacy: Drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy while advocating for its success across stakeholders.
Python Development: Contribute to and understand technical aspects of the product, ensuring alignment between the engineering team and product objectives.
LLM Integration: Leverage experience or awareness of Large Language Models (LLMs) to inform product design and ensure cutting-edge AI capabilities.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to transform high-level concepts into polished, scalable products.
Market Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor developments to keep the product innovative and relevant.

Requirements
Proven experience in Python development.
Familiarity or experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to advocate for and drive a product’s vision and roadmap.
Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment.

Bonus Skills
Background in AI/ML technologies.
Experience with product management tools and methodologies.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Your responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Power Apps Studio, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Power BI to automate processes and improve data insights Working closely with teachers, school leaders, head office staff, consultants and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solutions meet their needs Integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems used by the Harris Federation, ensuring security, seamless data flow and functionality. Providing ongoing support and maintenance for the developed solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing updates as required Creating technical documentation and providing training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the developed solutions.
