We're now looking for a Technology & Data Delivery Director to lead and execute medium to large-scale tech transformation initiatives, aligning technology with our goals to drive efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage.

You'll spearhead the modernization of our technology infrastructure and digital capabilities, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance content production, distribution, and audience engagement by commissioning safe and secure tech platforms and new technologies

About The Role

Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure tech initiatives support business growth and operational efficiency.
Execute and enhance the technology transformation strategy aligned with our strategy of being more global, more digital and more reader funded.
Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms (cloud, SaaS, AI-driven solutions).
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver transformation programs on time and within budget.
Enhance change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new tech processes and systems.
Partner with business leaders, ExCo and wider tech teams plus external vendors to align technology initiatives with business needs.
Manage tech transformation budgets (£10m -£15m), ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in executing secure digital transformation within the media industry, driving innovation across cloud computing, AI, and automation to support business growth.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale tech and data transformation projects.
Experience in working on transformative projects related (but not exhaustive) to cloud computing, enterprise applications, and emerging technologies.
Strong knowledge of tech governance, compliance and risk management frameworks desirable within the media sector
Experience with Agile, DevOps, and IT service management (ITSM) methodologies.
Experience in tech leadership roles, with a focus on digital transformation in the media, entertainment, or other related industries.
