Job Title: Clinical Research Associate (Medical Devices)
Location: Office-based with occasional travel (no more than once per week)
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Start Date: Ideally 1st May

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support and monitor clinical studies involving medical devices. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with study protocols, maintain excellent relationships with healthcare professionals, and provide training on medical devices used in the research.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as a monitor for clinical studies, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with nurses, doctors, and healthcare staff at study sites, including hospitals and GP practices.
Train healthcare professionals on the use of medical devices involved in the study.
Set up and configure laptops to ensure smooth data transfer and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
Ensure all study documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with clinical research protocols.
Follow detailed procedures and apply them effectively in a real-world setting.
Remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Travel to study sites when required (maximum once per week but may vary).

Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a clinical research role, preferably with medical devices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals.
Ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately.
Problem-solving mindset with a calm and methodical approach to challenges.
Comfortable with basic IT tasks, including laptop setup and data transfer troubleshooting.
Experience with clinical study monitoring and compliance is an advantage.
