About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a global data team that designs and delivers impactful, data-driven solutions across multiple departments. In this role, you will work closely with marketing and sales to improve a key internal product: a microservices-based platform that integrates multiple data sources and automatically generates qualified leads using predefined business rules.
These leads are then pushed to the company's CRM system and used by sales and marketing teams to drive business growth. The product is evolving toward a full-scale recommendation system using advanced AI and machine learning technologies.

Your Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into data solutions.
Enhance and maintain a microservices architecture for automated lead generation.
Optimize Spark jobs for performance and scalability.
Build and maintain APIs for integration with various applications.
Contribute to CI/CD processes and ensure code quality across environments.

You are a skilled data engineer with a strong interest in building products that have a direct business impact. You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and sharing best practices.

Required Skills

Solid experience in data engineering and building business-oriented solutions.
Proficient in Python, with strong knowledge of REST APIs and libraries such as PySpark, Pandas, Requests.
Experience working with Azure Databricks (clusters, workflows, asset bundles).
Comfortable with Azure DevOps, especially CI/CD pipelines.
Development experience using VS Code.
Ability to optimize Apache Spark workloads for performance.
Experience creating APIs to connect with internal and external applications.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Azure MLFlow.
Ability to understand existing Scala code.
Experience in Agile development and testing strategies.
Background in B2B or industrial environments is a plus.
