For one of our clients, a leading international company, we are looking for a Data Engineer to strengthen their data team. Our client works with the latest technologies and innovative, sustainable solutions, providing data-driven products and services to a wide range of users worldwide.
The Role:
Do you have a passion for developing solutions that help users better track their business? Do you enjoy collaborating with different departments and have strong communication skills?
In this role, you will work closely with the marketing department to translate business needs into optimal data-driven solutions.
You will play a key role in improving a microservices-based application that collects data from multiple sources and automatically generates leads based on predefined business rules.
The goal is to further develop this tool into a fully-fledged recommendation system, leveraging AI/ML models to optimize lead generation and business impact.
Who Are You?
You are an experienced Data Engineer with a strong technical background and an interest in exploring new technologies within the data domain.
Required Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with REST APIs and data processing libraries (PySpark, Requests, Pandas).
Experience with Azure Databricks (clusters, workflows, Databricks asset bundles, and frameworks).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, release management).
Experience with Apache Spark, including optimizing Spark jobs for performance.
Ability to build and enable APIs for integration with other applications.
Experience in an industrial B2B market is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Azure MLflows.
Experience with Scala (able to read and understand existing code).
Experience with Agile methodologies, including implementing design and testing strategies.
