Job Title: Knit Product Developer – 9 month FTC
Salary: £45,000

This beautiful brand, specialising in luxe sport, tailoring and knit is looking for an experienced Knit Product Developer to join the team, on a 9 month FTC.
About the Role:
Sourcing yarns for the upcoming season
Attending fittings and advising design on technical feasibility
Liaising with suppliers in Portugal, Italy and Far East
Plan and oversee costing during sampling
Issue any lab dip requirements, development, raw stock and sample yarn orders to ensure timely deliveries
Updating tech packs
Communicating with the design, atelier and production teams throughout the development lifecycle
About You:
Excellent knitwear, yarn and knitwear manufacturing technical knowledge
Previous experience working in a luxury womenswear and/or menswear brand is essential
Knowledge of different stitches, intarsia, jacquards, machines, seamless, hand knits and crochet
At least 5 years experience within Knitwear
Strong costing and negotiation skills
