Role Overview
As a Front-End Developer at iHeat, you’ll play a crucial role in creating engaging and efficient web interfaces for our customers.
Your expertise in modern front-end technologies will help us deliver exceptional user experiences.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with flexibility for remote work but also required presence in the office.
You will collaborate closely with our design and back-end development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Laravel, Vue.js, Vuex, Tailwind, and SCSS.
Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional and responsive web pages.
Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible user experience.
Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development.
Skills Required
Strong proficiency in Laravel, Vue.js, and Vuex.
Experience with Tailwind CSS for styling and SCSS for advanced CSS development.
Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility issues.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Proficiency in using Git/GitHub for version control and Slack for team communication.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
A portfolio or examples of previous work.
Ability to work both remotely and in the office as required.
Strong collaboration skills to work with our technical director, lead creative, and back-end developer.
Willingness to engage with anything related to iheat.co.uk.
