Job Summary:
Xerox IT Services is seeking an IT Field Support Engineer to join our growing UK Field Services Team. In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you’ll deliver high-quality, on-site IT support across multiple client locations. You'll respond to incidents, deploy hardware, and support infrastructure and end-users as an extension of our remote service desk.
This position is 100% in-person, supporting client sites in Slough and surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 and occasional Level 3 on-site support
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, especially critical (P1) issues
Install and maintain end-user, network, and storage hardware
Collaborate with remote service desk, datacentre, and project teams
Maintain on-site documentation and perform proactive infrastructure checks
Support technical deployments of servers, networks, and applications
Represent Xerox IT Services professionally while working independently or as part of a team
Qualifications:
3+ years in deskside or customer-facing IT support
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including desktop, server, and networking
Proficiency with:
Windows OS (Client & Server), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Office 365
Remote Desktop Services, SonicWALL/Draytek routers
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
Full clean UK driving license required
