The Booking
This is a great opportunity for a Freelance Art Director starting on the 31st of March (or sooner!) on a 6-week booking, working onsite in the Manchester studio for 5 days a week.
Your day-to-day will look like the following:
· Direct liaison with clients & creatives
· Building briefs out, collaborating with the client and crew for all production requirements, including lighting, propping, set-building & styling
· Direct and QC on PDP/enhanced photography/lifestyle photography
· Work in partnership with teams to ensure cross-functional seasonal imagery concepting and the most efficient capture of needed specs
· Regularly leading photography wash-ups to drive alignment and best practices
· Part of 2-stage QC process on PDP (using Creative Force)
· Directing models on shoots in studio, motivating child models
· Troubleshooting and problem-solving effectively on set
· Becoming a brand guardian & ensuring photography execution is on brand and adhering to strict client guidelines
· Constantly looking for ways to drive innovation & newness within the creative direction of photography

What We’re Looking For
We're after a Freelance Art Director who has a strong background in fashion, eCommerce, and campaign art direction, particularly for high-paced product shoots. You'll have excellent collaboration skills, able to work closely with photographers, stylists, producers, and clients alike.
We want to hear all about your experience managing client expectations, leading and mentoring teams, and delivering high-quality work within fast-paced photography workflows. We want to know exactly how you build and maintain style guides to ensure consistency across creative assets, and how you ensure smooth workflow execution and creative excellence in all you do!
With your keen eye for detail and strong visual storytelling skills, you'll have a portfolio to back this all up, full to the brim with your expert-level proficiency across the Creative Cloud and Capture One Pro. Skilled across Microsoft Office and Creative Force? Even better!
Last but not least, we'll need to see that you have a proven ability to work with and direct models of all ages on set. A CRB check and safeguarding children qualification are preferred for this one!

This is a site visits with the client’s quality team to discuss current site works and to ensure that the ITPs are being adhered to and completed competently. Reviewing of construction issue drawings and highlighting any potential construction issue to the client, via a Technical Query (TQ).
