We are partnering with a Series A-backed B2B services company with a strong foundation and a clear growth trajectory, the company is seeking an Interim CFO to guide them through this pivotal phase of scaling, optimizing financial performance, and preparing for further growth.

Role Overview:
Working directly with the CEO, the Interim CFO will work closely with the sales team and senior leadership to build and implement a financial strategy that supports the company’s next stage of growth. This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will drive key financial initiatives, enhance operational performance, and help prepare the company for additional funding, while aligning financial strategy with the company’s overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and Optimize Finance and Operations: Conduct a thorough evaluation of the current finance team, systems, processes, and controls. Design a scalable finance function that can support the company’s growth objectives, with a focus on efficiency and scalability as the business expands.
Collaborate with CEO and Sales: Work directly with the CEO and sales leadership to align on key revenue drivers, sales forecasts, and financial targets. Develop data-driven strategies to optimize revenue generation while improving profitability.
Support Data-Driven Decision Making: Enhance the company’s ability to make strategic decisions by building and refining financial models, KPIs, and metrics. Challenge assumptions and actively lead discussions around critical decisions such as capital allocation and pricing strategies.

Experience You Will Gain:
Building a Scalable Finance Function: Lead the development of a robust, scalable finance team and function, helping the business establish the necessary financial controls and reporting systems needed to support growth.
Driving Top & Bottom-Line Growth: Contribute to both revenue and cost efficiency efforts, ensuring that financial targets are met while laying the groundwork for future funding rounds and expansion.
Investor and Board Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for board members, investors, and stakeholders, clearly communicating financial performance and strategy.
Strategic Decision Making: Own the key financial metrics and levers that will drive strategic decisions across the business, supporting data-driven growth and operational improvements.

Background & Experience:
Proven experience as an Interim CFO, ideally in a Series A or early-stage high-growth B2B services business.
Strong background in working closely with CEOs, sales teams, and senior leadership to scale a business and optimize financial performance.
Previous experience building or restructuring finance teams within a fast-growing, venture-backed environment.
A strategic, data-driven thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in financial operations.
