Job Specifications
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant to lead and support the migration from SAP BW7 to BW4HANA. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW7 and BW4HANA, particularly within HR modules, and possess strong technicdal skills in ABAP, HANA Calculation Views, and SQLScript.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BW7 to BW4HANA Migration
Convert SAP BW7 objects to BW4HANA using shell conversion.
Ensure smooth migration by accurately mapping legacy metadata to BW4HANA object models.
Optimize data structures using CompositeProviders and Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSO).
Testing, Troubleshooting & Documentation
Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
Compare legacy reports with migrated objects to validate data consistency and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues efficiently.
Document technical configurations and custom adjustments.
Communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience in BW4HANA modelling techniques, including CompositeProviders and ADSO.
Strong proficiency in ABAP for developing custom extraction, transformation, and loading routines.
Experience with HANA Calculation Views and SQLScript.
Knowledge of CDS Views and Embedded Analytics in S4HANA is a plus.
Deep understanding of the HR module in BW.
Experience with standard HR extractors in S4HANA.
Ability to work with CDS Views for HR data extraction and transformation.
Languages:
French or Dutch, in addition to English.
