Well, what about the team?

The Insights team is an integral and fast expanding and global department within Bally’s interactive. Working in a globally facing role across multiple areas of the business, you will support decision making by using data to provide actionable recommendations, empowering key stakeholders to make better decisions and drive business performance.

As an Insight Analyst you will implement varying analytical techniques and tools to provide the business with actionable insights that will drive us forward. Experience with SQL and Excel are essential and understanding of tools such as Python and Big Query are beneficial but not crucial. Experience in conducting financial analysis, modelling and forecasting are also beneficial for this role.

We are looking for a self-driven, proactive & resourceful candidate. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with key decision makers and senior stakeholders at Bally’s, and provide support and guidance on business strategy. This role reports to the Executive Director - Strategic Insights,

So, what will you be doing?

Using SQL to produce in-depth analysis of data from multiple sources, to understand patterns in customer behaviour and providing actionable recommendations.
Conducting ROI valuations for business initiatives & product developments to assist with internal technology prioritisation.
Reviewing the performance of the business’ core KPIs and highlight any unusual trends.
Managing and maintaining ongoing forecasts, proactively seeking and evaluating opportunities for growth or profit optimisation.
Communicating and presenting findings to the team and senior stakeholders.
Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor innovations.

Have experience as an Analyst with an understanding, or personal interest in the remote gaming market.
Have excellent modelling, analytical and numerical capabilities.
Possess advanced knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
Possess the ability to form actionable recommendations from analysis.
Have high attention to detail and proficiency in report writing.
Be a confident communicator both verbally and written.
Be proactive with an ability to work independently, multi task, and manage multiple deadlines.
Be self-driven, resourceful, and ambitious.

This encompasses the platform, including both 3rd party and internally developed applications, infrastructure, ancillary services and end-user computing. As a Tier 2 Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our platform infrastructure while driving the adoption of cloud-based and automated solutions.
