AWS DevOps Engineer – HIRING ASAP
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Until December 2025
Location: Hybrid in Knutsford office
Rate: £344 per day inside ir35
Responsibilities:
AWS dev and prod environment set up.
Build of 3rd party images based on flat binaries and instructions.
Deployment of 3rd party images to ECS and configuration
Deployment of Barclays catalogue builds for AWS services including S3, KMS, EC2, API gateway etc.
Configuration of logging and monitoring to cloud watch, app dynamics.
Secrets management configuration
Configuration of connection to Mongo, MS SQL DB's
Configuration from AWS to on prem services (API’s, Db, etc)
Provide and support AWS upskilling across broader engineering team.
Configuration of CI/CD Pipelines
Key Skills
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) preferably Terraform or CloudFormation
Expertise in CI/CD Pipelines preferably Jenkins
Expertise Blue/Green Deployments
Expertise Implementation using AWS Service Catalogue
Expertise in LamdaAuthoriser, OAuth, Secrets Manager
Expertise in logging and monitoring solutions preferably Cloudwatch, Kibana, App Dynamics
Expertise working with RHEL, nginx, Tomcat, Apache, .NET etc.
