The Role
We are building Markflow, a next-generation platform for trademark data and AI that will replace legacy systems with a standardized, automated AWS-based solution. This platform will serve as the foundation for our trademark search, screening, and watch services.
We're seeking a Data Quality Manager to own the integrity and governance of our trademark data across 190+ jurisdictions. This role will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring our data meets the highest standards of accuracy and completeness.
Responsibilities And Duties
This role should design and own the data model, and be accountable for keeping it simple, consistent, well designed, etc.
Design and document the data flows & transformation; ingestion, enrichment, validation, exports, etc.
Own the data quality, leverage technology to measure and proactively monitor data quality, produce KPIs on this
Continuously optimise; identify, understand and automate any manual data validation & enrichment tasks
Close collaboration with Data Ops on data source & vendor management, ad-hoc analysis, change management
Essential
5+ years experience in data quality management or data governance
Strong understanding of data validation techniques and quality assurance methodologies
Experience writing test cases and performing data verification
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Strong hands on with SQL and data analysis tools
Experience working with complex data from multiple sources
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of trademark data, intellectual property, or legal data management
Experience with AWS cloud ecosystem and Databricks
Understanding of automated data pipelines and ETL processes
Experience with data migration projects
Familiarity with Python or other programming languages for data validation
