Our Blue Chip Insurance Client is looking for a Portfolio Planner ideally with strong Agile skills and a background in Financial Services, along with working on multiple projects. Will be for 6 months initially & based 2 days a week in London. Please note this role must be via an Umbrella company.
Will be responsible for facilitating Agile portfolio-level quarterly planning, engaging across the digital portfolio, and creating outputs, structure, and governance pre and post planning. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies along with a background in financial services
Key Duties:
Prepare for and facilitate quarterly planning sessions at the portfolio level, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Engage with stakeholders across the digital portfolio to gather requirements and ensure effective communication.
Embed the core ceremonies and artefacts across a digital portfolio of work that empowers strategic decision making
Develop and maintain planning outputs, including roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation.
Establish and enforce governance structures to ensure compliance with Agile best practices.
Monitor and report on the progress of portfolio initiatives, identifying and addressing any risks or issues.
Pull together the outputs, ensure they are aligning in all business areas,standardising the approach and show the difference already being made in the digital area
