About the Role:
VANRATH is partnering with a leading financial software house to recruit Full Stack Engineers at all levels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, dynamic team working on innovative solutions within the financial services industry. You will have the chance to develop both the backend and frontend of cutting-edge financial software, using modern technologies like .NET or Java on the backend, and React or Angular on the front end.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable applications in a full-stack capacity.
Work on both the backend (using .NET or Java) and the frontend (using React or Angular) to deliver robust solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to design, development, testing, and deployment.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Engage in code reviews and mentoring of junior team members to ensure development standards and best practices are followed.

What You'll Need:
Strong experience in full-stack development, with a solid understanding of both backend and frontend technologies.
Proven experience with either .NET or Java for backend development.
Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for front-end development.
Familiarity with web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
Knowledge of modern development practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and take ownership of development projects.
