We're looking for a hands-on Technical Support Engineer to provide operational support to internal and external users within a research and healthcare data environment.
While not a traditional DevOps role, the position involves working with AWS (Workspaces, EC2, S3), basic BASH scripting, and tools like Jira and Airflow.
You'll be the go-to person for managing support tickets related to infrastructure and data access, helping the internal research team.
You'll need to be proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable with technical troubleshooting—from installing Python packages to checking pod logs or moving files to Glacier.
Communication skills are key, as you'll be the main interface for ticket management and basic support across teams.
Ideally minimum experience of 5 years with AWS
