DV Cleared Pre Sales Service Consultant - 6 Month Contract - Farnborough/Wiltshire
I'm working on a 6-month Outside IR35 contract for a Pre-Sales Service Consultant with one of our key clients in the Telecoms/IT sector.
They're looking for someone with strong ITIL experience, proven expertise in service design, and a solid background supporting large, complex public sector bids.
Background & Experience
Senior-level experience in pre-sales or service consultancy roles (preferably within Telecoms, IT, or Managed Services).
Proven track record working on large, complex bids or enterprise-level solutions - ideally within the UK Public Sector.
Strong familiarity with UK Government Procurement Frameworks (eg, G-Cloud, Crown Commercial Services, etc.).
Service Design & Delivery Knowledge
ITIL v3 or v4 certified (v4 preferred) with practical experience in Service Design, Operations, and Transition.
Ability to define bespoke support service models tailored to client expectations and internal delivery.
Skilled in producing key deliverables such as:
Service High-Level Designs (HLDs)
Resource and Cost Models
Transition Documentation
Pre-Sales & Commercial Acumen
Strong engagement in pre-sales activities - supporting bid responses, articulating service value, and contributing to the commercial model.
Experience crafting customer-facing service proposals and bid documentation.
Able to influence and guide internal stakeholders, delivery teams, and clients.
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication - able to convey complex service solutions clearly and concisely.
Confident collaborating in cross-functional, virtual teams across Sales, Product, and Delivery.
Skilled in peer-level client engagement, relationship building, and influencing decisions.
