Jnr - Mid-Level DevOps Data Engineer
Are you a mid-level Data Engineer / DevOps Specialist looking to grow your career in a fast-paced, data-driven environment? We’re seeking skilled individuals to join a dynamic Data & Analytics team, focusing on AWS DevOps, Python unit testing, and data-related projects.
What You’ll Do:
AWS Infrastructure & Automation: Build and optimize cloud infrastructure from scratch using AWS services and pre-architected tooling.
CloudFormation & Security Groups: Manage cloud infrastructure security and connectivity.
Kubernetes (EKS) & Containerisation: Troubleshoot Docker, write Dockerfiles, and manage Kubernetes pods effectively.
Python Development & Unit Testing: Write, test, and debug Python code while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Automation & Deployment: Configure backend services, build data pipelines, and work on ETL processes.
What You’ll Bring:
Python Expertise: Experience in writing new code, performing unit tests, and resolving complex issues.
AWS Knowledge: Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Security Groups, and cloud connectivity.
Kubernetes (EKS) & Docker: Strong skills in managing containerized applications, troubleshooting Docker, and managing pods.
Application Development: Proven experience in building and deploying applications in cloud environments.
End-to-End Data Workflow: Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, and processing (e.g., scraping, processing Python files, and automating workflows).
2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
