We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected, member-owned organisation in the financial services sector. As they invest in new systems, services and products, they’re looking for a Business Analyst who thrives in collaborative environments and wants to see their impact across the business.
You’ll lead workshops, gather requirements, and act as the crucial bridge between internal teams and third-party suppliers. This is a hands-on role with real variety – from improving existing systems to launching new services.
What you’ll do:
Run workshops to gather and define business requirements
Translate business needs into clear specifications
Analyse problems and support root cause investigation
Improve existing systems and business processes
Support new product and service launches
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers
Monitor scope, risks and impacts throughout projects
Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
You’ll bring:
3+ years in a business analyst or similar role
Strong facilitation, documentation & communication skills
A consultative, methodical mindset

Three Bridging Fellowships will be advertised in 2025. These posts are part of an exciting expansion of medical humanities at Durham funded by Wellcome. The Discovery Research Platform for Medical Humanities (DRP-MH) aims to empower health and wellbeing researchers from different sectors and disciplines to co-develop new and experimental approaches to tackling health challenges, including those arising at the intersections of mental health and health inequalities. The Platform seeks to expand the research capacity of the medical humanities globally through creating space for experimentation and intellectual risk-taking and enabling large-scale collaborations with community, creative, health and voluntary sector organisations.
