We provide pragmatic end-to-end services, products and technologies combined with straight-talking strategic direction to unlock the true value of data and drive transformational change.
Established in 2011 as a different player to the corporate data world, our ethos is to do the right thing, even if it's not the easy thing; to build partnerships and relationships based on honesty and transparency; and to prioritise specialist skills and quality above all else.
The opportunity to contract with us;
We're growing - fast - and have big ambitions across both the consultancy and technology spaces. In order to achieve these ambitions, we're seeking an Analytics based Solution Design Consultant to help in the support of our Analytical and AI discipline. This role will initially be on a contractor basis, but may attract the possibility of a longer-term, more permanent role as our team evolves.
Directed by our Associate Director(s) and Managing Partner, this role will allow them to shape and take forward the overall discipline whilst allowing you to support their roles with day to day hands on activities, delivering analytical solutions at the highest level whilst remaining actively involved and hands-on with cutting-edge projects.
You will ensure projects are moved forward in line with the aim of the discipline, whilst collaborating across our wider team on the solution(s) and project(s) supporting our team of talented professionals, collaborate with diverse clients, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative AI-driven analytical solutions.
This position is a great blend of hands-on technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities - the tasks expected would include:
Project Delivery:
o Lead the technical delivery of analytics and AI projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and quality standards.
o Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide actionable insights through data-driven solutions.
o Leverage Python and SQL to build, optimise, and automate analytic models, ensuring data is processed efficiently and effectively.
Data Analysis & AI Model Development:
o Apply advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to solve complex business problems.
o Develop AI-driven solutions tailored to the client's needs.
o Maintain a focus on delivering practical solutions, ensuring models and insights lead to measurable client outcomes.
Effective Communication & Storytelling:
o Translate complex data and AI model outputs into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
o Create compelling presentations and data visualisations, using tools like Power BI or Tableau, to tell the story behind the data.
o Actively engage with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they remain informed and aligned with the project goals.
Innovation & Problem Solving:
o Stay curious and constantly explore new analytics and AI methodologies and tools, bringing innovative solutions to clients.
o Identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver higher value through automation or advanced analytics techniques.
o Collaborate with internal teams to pilot and scale new AI solutions that enhance client outcomes.
Client Management & Support:
o Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on analytics and AI.
o Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and presenting technical solutions to potential new clients.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all solutions meet the client's business requirements and are aligned with best practices.

We see ourselves as trusted partners to our clients and believe in transparency, quality and integrity above all else, always pushing the boundaries to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. We also really value collaboration and teamwork, making sure we work together to solve problems and share learnings as a team.
As a pivotal support to our team and goals, you'll not only share these values but demonstrate and lead by example, bringing your own personality and approach to our work.
We're looking for someone with the following experience and qualities, but if you don't fit these exactly and are interested in working with us, get in touch anyway - we hire people, not job specs.
- You will help to drive the design, implementation, and storytelling of data insights through analytics and AI models, ensuring clients derive tangible value from their data.
- You must have a keen analytical mind, be an innovative problem-solver, and possess strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex insights in an engaging and understandable way.

What's in it for you?
We're not a standard consultancy - we pride ourselves on having a people-first culture which sets us apart from other consultancies and organisations.

You can expect to join a supportive, friendly team: we work hard but enjoy working hard together. We're a diverse and inclusive team who enjoy silly Slack conversations and regular social events; our relatively flat structure means that everyone has an equal voice, contractors and employees alike.
Long term we are open to exploring a permanent home should this be of equal interested to you.
Our day rates fall outside of IR35 and will be in line with experience and current contracting staff.
