Senior Planning Engineer - Construction Planner – P6 - Renewables Infrastructure
6 months contract.
Outside IR35 £500 - £550 per day.
An exciting opportunity for a Construction Planner with P6 skills to join an established business involved in pre & post contract planning on a range of renewables projects. Projects include battery storage and hydro schemes. Projects are at different stages of the life cycle, some in design and some construction phase.
We are interested in speaking to candidates with backgrounds in renewable energy power, civil engineering, transport and wider infrastructure projects. The role involves creation, maintenance and reporting of P6 programs. Clause 31 & clause 32 NEC monthly updates and clause 60 compensation events.
The Role
· As a Construction planner you will be accountable for developing and analysing Primavera P6 programmes to accurately capture identified customer needs.
· The ability to build a programme from first principles using Primavera P6.
· Input into the tender strategy.
· Technical appraisal of construction labour, plant, materials and temporary works.
· The effective analysis of programme risks.
· Produce programme what-if scenarios as appropriate.
Essential Skills Required
· P6 Primavera experience.
· Civil engineering, transportation or major infrastructure project experience.
· Experience in client and contractor organisations using NEC3/ 4 contracts.
This is a contract role with an initial 6-month duration. Rates are outside of IR35 £500-550 per day.
