Job Requirements
As a Market Risk UI Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be part of an Agile team responsible for building a multi-cross asset platform that offers self-service reporting and analytics tools for our risk managers, front office user and generate regulatory reports. The platform will be backed with a big-data Hadoop/spark cluster, and columnar stores for dynamic aggregation and analytic queries.
Your work in this role will have a deep impact throughout the RFT organization as the Market Risk team is responsible for a wide variety of delivery initiatives that are carried out across all business areas.
What will you be doing?
Write elegant, re-usable, unit tested, and performant code in TypeScript and Angular UI framework
Collaborate with Tech-Leads to simplify the architecture and keep it resilient and performant.
Write technical analysis and design documents adhering to predefined standards.
Liaise effectively and independently with Risk Managers and Business Analysts to gather requirements and implement functionalities.

What we’re looking for:
Minimum Four-year college degree (or better) in computer science or related discipline.
Proven hands-on experience in software development with Angular UI TypeScript, HTML5, CSS etc.
Knowledge of SQL, relational, database systems and experience with SQL
Understanding of GIT, Agile methodologies and SDLC phases

Skills that will help you in the role:
Understanding of the financial markets and environment; willingness and
capacity to learn complex financial and risk management concepts.
Experience in Linux, Python, Java
Experience in building Big Data Analytic Reporting technologies– HDFS, Spark
