Fullstack JavaScript Engineer - Sustainability - Hybrid - £90,000
I am looking for fullstack developers to join a fast growing ecommerce client wit a core focus on sustainability. They are a artisan fragrance maker based in the UK, dedicated to reviving traditional perfumery by crafting natural, organic, and vegan perfumes. After continous revenue growth, they are looking for mutliple headcount hires.
TechStack - React, Typescript, Nextjs, Postgress, Nodejs.
Responsibilities:
Systems Architecture: Build efficient, scalable, well thought out systems and processes.
Internal Tools: Construct internal dashboards and tools to help the team understand how their systems are operating.
Database Management: Help setup and manage their databases.
Performance: Improve performance on their systems and website.
The role is offering £90k and ideally looking for someone to come to the office 3 days a week (East London)

About The Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in building and scaling our software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you should be highly proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, comfortable working with modern frameworks, and have a deep understanding of software development best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Responsibilities Lead on designing and implementing scalable client-side and server-side architecture. Drive technical excellence, promoting best practices in software development, testing, and deployment. Work closely with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Develop and optimise APIs, databases, and cloud-based infrastructure. Ensure applications are performant, secure, and maintainable. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack. Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Stay up to date with industry trends and proactively suggest improvements to technology and processes. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. What You’ll Bring Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer or similar role. Expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (we use Vue.js, but experience with other frameworks and a willingness to learn Vue is fine). Strong experience in back-end development, working with cloud-based infrastructure. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform is a plus. Proficiency in working with document-based databases such as Firestore. A deep understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimisation. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues. A collaborative mindset, with experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a strong engineering culture.
