We are recruiting for a Data Analyst who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition and efficient operation of data projects from the QA environment to production. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Issue Resolution & Escalation: Proactively resolving issues impacting critical data projects and escalating them when necessary.
Domain Expertise & Continuous Learning: Enhancing project outcomes through deep domain knowledge and fostering continuous learning within the team.
Service Monitoring & Data Insights: Utilising tools such as Dataiku, Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI to develop dashboards, monitor service metrics, and deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Automation & Efficiency: Leveraging SQL, Python, and R to identify automation opportunities and streamline support and maintenance processes.
Documentation Management: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation across processes, systems, and team structures.
Project Prioritisation & Promotion: Supporting project prioritisation and assisting in the controlled promotion of data projects from QA to production.
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Contributing to the development and implementation of robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Environment Health Checks: Conducting regular health checks on QA and production environments to guarantee system stability and optimal performance.
Knowledge and Experience
Experience with Alteryx: Essential for managing data workflows.
Software Delivery: Proven track record of delivering high-quality, unit-tested software within a commercial environment.
Design Principles: Practical experience in applying appropriate design patterns and principles.
Financial Sector Exposure: FX and broader financial knowledge is desirable, along with experience in financial systems.
Technical Skills
Data Engineering: Proficiency in using Alteryx and Dataiku
Data Visualisation: Experience with Tableau and PowerBI.
Programming: Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, and R.
