Contract - SharePoint Administrator
Duration: 3 Month's Initial
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (Bath)
The Administrative Coordinator is critical to ensuring the success of this large-scale migration project, facilitating a smooth transition for users. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of digital operations, contributing to the overall success of the digital transformation.
What You'll Do:
As an integral part of the SharePoint development team, you will support the Wiki Migration Project by:
Assisting with data migration, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the transfer process.
Collaborating with various departments to review and organize content, making sure it aligns with the new SharePoint structure.
Using a migration tool to export data and troubleshoot any issues that arise, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Providing user support, answering queries, and offering technical guidance as staff transition to the new system.
Maintaining detailed records of progress, flagging any discrepancies, and participating in platform testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
Taking minutes during team meetings and performing other general administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Use MS Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, Teams) to manage project requests and monitor migration progress.
Operate migration software (training provided) and log any issues for review.
Provide basic technical support and escalate more complex issues to the relevant team members.
Accurately record tasks, keep logs of issues, and maintain daily updates on the project's progress.
Test and provide feedback on the new SharePoint platform's functionality.
Support the project team with administrative tasks, including note-taking and organizing meetings.
Who We're Looking For:
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Excellent organizational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Experience in an administrative or IT support role (bonus if you've worked in a digital transformation or migration project before).
Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workloads, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have):
Experience with SharePoint or other content management systems.
Knowledge of PowerShell or other Scripting languages.
Advanced Excel skills.
