Nexeo Belgium is currently looking for a Financial Controller to support a leading bank in Belgium.

Nexeo is a consultancy company that supports its clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors in all phases of their transformation projects: from business consulting to the implementation of IT solutions.

Your responsibilities as Financial Controller:
Check, approve, and book invoices in internal tools.
Analyse and validate financial data while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform various financial reports and reconciliations.
Propose process improvements and simplifications.
Monitor and follow up on internal accounting processes, including suspense accounts.
Ensure correct management of accounts and consistency between different reporting systems.
Participate in the modification of procedures and systems.
What are we expecting?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial control or accounting.
Experience in bank accounting.
Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
Fluent in English, French is a plus.
Accuracy, analytical skills, team spirit, and autonomy.
