Role

The role is positioned in the Global Brands Supply, Project Engineering team providing Capital Project support to Manufacturing sites including distillation, brewing, spirits and beer packaging and maturation warehousing. The overall purpose of this team is to deliver capital expenditure projects. For this role this includes:

Development of requirement specifications in collaboration with other teams such as Operations.
Use specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to correct technical specification.
Development of cost estimates and project schedules.
Managing efficient spend for capex projects.
Co-ordinating and managing external resources.
Manage the project lifecycle including capital approval, maintaining accurate financial data including spend and forecast and project closure.
Manage construction activities and overseeing commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental standards.


Functional skills such as packaging, FMCG, and decarbonisation projects. Good health and safety qualification, desirable but not mandatory but will need to strong safety mindset if no formal qualification.

Financial Services Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Fund Transformation Delivery Analyst to join the existing team on a brand-new project. This role is based in London/Telford/Wythall. This role will be Via Umbrella. Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on a local site. Key Skills and Experience Using your knowledge and experience, assist key stakeholders in shaping the fund transformation delivery pipeline. Working with internal and external stakeholders, identify activities required to be executed as part of a fund transformation and build out delivery runbooks to capture and track those activities. Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders and external parties to ensure alignment with the overall goal of the transformation and to obtain their support in delivering the required outputs. Identify and escalate risks, issues and dependencies that are likely to affect the transformation and work with stakeholders to develop and execute mitigation plans. Develop appropriate documentation to be utilised when engaging with external vendors to convey requirements and assess their capabilities. Build and maintain key artefacts to support the fund transformation eg scoping document(s), process design documentation etc. Use your knowledge of funds and the environments they operate within to help subject matter experts solve complex problems across different subject matters. Organise and lead workshops and solution sessions to focus planning specific deliverables or developing solutions and processes to address issues or gaps in the delivery. 5+ years working directly to support funds operations and/or fund changes within asset management and or fund administration. An advanced understanding of the teams and tasks which support investment funds through all stages of the fund life cycle including launch, operation, change and closure. An understanding of the different types of collective investment vehicles and an appreciation of the differences that exist between them and how those differences can affect fund change. Regular facilitation of delivery meetings with 20+ stakeholders to progress deliverables or design solutions Design, documentation and agreement of fund related processes across a number of different stakeholders' teams. Track record of identifying fund implementation issues and evidence of leading/developing a solution to resolve such issues Experience of previous complex deliveries involving disparate internal and external stakeholders each with their own priorities and skill sets. Has worked in an environment supporting multiple simultaneous deliveries which required active prioritisation of workload and deliverables to meet tight deadlines. Production of simple documents outlining the project requirements to vendors and to elicit their responses to our requirements in a structured and quantifiable manner.
